Every day from 09:00 to 18:00, all year round. We have no winter break. Only if there is a party in the morning can you come in from 13:00; we mention that on the home page.

Cycling or walking is easier. There is little parking space on the Van Dortstraat, and by bike you are right at the gate.

Yes, the grounds are easy to reach and to get around with a wheelchair or pram. You are welcome to bring them inside.

The equipment is meant for children up to about twelve. For children under six we advise you to come along: the playground provides no supervision.

The nature playground is for children aged seven and up who can swim. It borders a ditch, so it is not safe for small children who cannot swim. As a parent you keep an eye on that yourself. The rule is in our house rules.

The playground is simply open, but there is no covered area for visitors. If you rent the playground for a party, there is a party tent in the shed.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the playground. Assistance and guide dogs of course are. This and the other agreements are listed with the playground rules.

Yes, you can. Alcohol is not allowed — including alcohol-free beer or wine. Leave glass at home, and take your rubbish with you as much as you can. We sell ice cream, sweets and lemonade in the building; that helps keep the playground going.

Yes, and it is free to use. Only when the caretaker is on site though, which means the summer. Outside that period you cannot count on it — worth knowing if you are coming with small children.

Park your bike outside the fence so the entrance stays clear. Prams, small children’s bikes and mobility vehicles are welcome inside.

Loose balls and stilts are not allowed, for safety reasons. Buckets, spades and sieves for the sandpit are fine. See article 4.5 of the house rules.

A day pass is €0.60 per person, payable through the QR codes in the playground or here on the website. A family membership costs €32 a year and lets you come and go freely all year.

Yes. With a valid HaarlemPas the membership costs €10 a year. Tick the box when you sign up and bring your pass to the playground once, so we can check it during a round.

In three steps: fill in your details, pay by iDEAL or authorise a direct debit, and your digital membership pass appears straight away in your own account on the site. You can save it to your phone as an image. Sign up at become a member.

Yes, a membership is per family. Is grandma or a babysitter bringing the children? Have them take the pass on their phone and they walk right in.

You arrange that yourself in your own account on the site. Your membership then ends on its end date and is not renewed.

Yes. As a member you rent the playground exclusively for a morning for €40, from 09:00 to 13:00. The whole site and all the equipment are yours, for up to 150 people. Not a member yet? Become one first for €32 a year.

Check the online rental calendar for free mornings, log in, lock in your date and pay by iDEAL. You then receive a confirmation email with all the practical instructions.

The rental calendar opens on 1 March and runs until 15 October. Weekdays as well as weekends.

A small kitchen with a fridge, freezer, kettle and some crockery, toilets, a party tent in case of rain, and all the toys and bunting are yours to use. You bring your own food and drink.

You collect the key and the code the day before, between 15:00 and 17:00, from the caretaker. Afterwards the key goes through the letterbox of the kitchen.

Yes. Bunting down, toys back in the shed, kitchen and toilets clean, rubbish taken with you, and the gate open again for other visitors. It is all in the rental rules.

The exclusive part ends at 13:00, but anyone who wants to stay is welcome to.
